Explore the Aegean [2024]

In September 2024, I took part in Explore the Aegean II, an initiative by the South Aegean Region's Managing Authority as part of the EU's "In My Region" campaign. I travelled to Kalymnos, Kos, and Rhodes in the Dodecanese to document EU co-funded projects aimed at preserving the environment, supporting the local communities and protecting the islands' rich cultural heritage. Through this journey, I explored how these initiatives shape the region and gained insight into the deep connection between the islanders and their land, culture, and history.
