The second episode “A Bond From the Past” from our audio documentary series, “Labour Park”, will be featured in the Podcast Room at the 12th Chania Film Festival, taking place from October 16 to 27 at the Cultural Centre of Chania, Crete. The episode will compete in the Greek Podcast Documentary category, and we’re honoured to be part of this prestigious event that celebrates powerful storytelling and share our work with such a talented community of storytellers and film enthusiasts

“Labour Park” is a six-episode audio documentary exploring the history of the Drapetsona Fertilizer Factory and the lives of the people it marked. Set in the factory workers’ settlement, this episode shares the personal stories of Georgia and Stella, who reflect on life, solidarity, and resilience during key events of the 20th century that shaped the region. 

“Labour Park” is a production of Spoovio in collaboration with Lipasmata Park, the Lifelong Learning Centre of Keratsini – Drapetsona, COMM’ON and the Municipality of Keratsini – Drapetsona. It was carried out with the grant of the Ministry of Culture.
